Pushpool Setting up on Ubuntu Praised Server
Pushpool is a decentralized mining pool that allows you to unite your computer power with others to minimize the crypto currency. If you use Ubuntu a purpose server and install bitcoind, you can easily set up a pushpool to make the advantages of the server power power.
Prerequisites
Before we start, you must have:
- Ubuntu 18.04 or newer (Bionic Beaver) or a recent installation on your dedicated server.
- Bitcoind works with the latest available blocks.
- Public IP address and a static DNS name for your server (optional).
Instructions for step by step
- Update the system
`Bash
SUDO APT update
`
- Install Pushpool Software
Bash
SUDO APT INSTALLY -Y PUSHPOOL
`
This will install a PushPool Software package, which includes the necessary addiction and configuration files.
- Generate a new pool address
Bash
Pushpool ADDR -JAVNA IP Address -dns DNS1.example.com
`
Replace thepublic IP address with a public IP address of your server (eg 192.168.1.100) IDNS1.example.com with a DNS name of your server. This will create a new pool address.
- Configure Pushpool
Bash
SUDO CP /ETC/PUSHPOOL.CONF /ETC/PUSHPOOL.CONF.BKP
`
This is a backup of a given configuration file. Edit the original file and update theADDRvariable with a newly generated pool address.
- Add your miner machine to the pool
Create a new file in the Directory/etc./Pushpool.conf, eg,
Pushpool.conf. Add the following line:
Bash
Add-Mahin-Mahine “Your-Mikronthrontoller-IME” “YouR-Microcontroller-IP-Adres”
`
Replace your-microcontroller-name iyour-mikrokontroller-iP-adres with an actual name of a microcontroller and an IP address.
- Reboot Pushpool Service
Bash
Pushpool re -restarting judge
`
This will launch a Pushpool service and enable mining on your dedicated server.
Check your mining setting
After setting up a pushpool, make sure your mining settings do as expected to launch:
Bash
Ps -ef | Grep Pushpool
`
This should show the PushPool Process ID. You can also check the pool status usingPushpool` command.
Tips to solve the problem

- Ensure your microcontroller is configured to use a valid IP address.
- Make sure there are network connection problems.
- If you come across problems, see Pushpool documentation or contact their support team for help.
Following these steps, you should be able to set up a pushpool on your Ubuntu dedicated server and take advantage of its decentralized mining capabilities. Happy mining!
